STORY

Once two people were talking about God, if God exist. One said, “There is no God. Second replied, “OK. I will tell you a short story. Then think for yourself.” Second person continued, “In a mother’s womb were two babies talking to each other. First questioned to other – Do you believe in life after this?

The first baby pondered for a moment before responding, “I’m not sure. I’ve heard some say there is, but I can’t see it for myself.”

The second baby smiled knowingly. “Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time, there were two seeds lying side by side in the fertile soil of a garden. One seed said to the other, ‘Do you believe in life beyond this darkness and confinement?’

The other seed, feeling uncertain, replied, ‘I’m not sure. It’s hard to imagine anything beyond what we know.’

As time passed, the seeds began to grow. They pushed their tender shoots upward, reaching for the warmth of the sun and the nourishment of the soil. They stretched their tiny roots deep into the earth, anchoring themselves firmly in place.

Eventually, the two seeds transformed into beautiful flowers, their petals unfurling in a riot of color and fragrance. They swayed gently in the breeze, basking in the glory of their newfound existence.

The first baby listened intently, captivated by the tale. “But what does that have to do with God?” he asked.

The second person smiled. “Just as the seeds could not fully comprehend the world beyond their dark, cramped existence, we too may struggle to comprehend the existence of something greater than ourselves. But just because we cannot see it or fully understand it doesn’t mean it isn’t there.”

The first person furrowed their brow, considering this new perspective. “So you’re saying that just because we can’t see or prove the existence of God, doesn’t mean that God isn’t real?”

The second person nodded. “Exactly. Sometimes, faith is about trusting in something beyond our comprehension, believing in the unseen and the unknown.”

The first person fell silent, lost in thought. For the first time, they began to consider the possibility that there might be more to the universe than meets the eye.

As they parted ways, the first person promised to reflect further on their conversation, to open their mind to new possibilities. And as they walked away, they couldn’t shake the feeling that perhaps there was more to life than they had previously imagined.
