Tina laughed even harder but said, “Well, as charming as your dishwashers are, I think you might want to invest in a proper dishwashing routine or a machine. Clean dishes are a must, especially if you want to keep impressing me!”
Jim nodded, a little embarrassed but clearly amused. “You’re absolutely right, Tina. I’ll make sure to clean up properly next time. I was just too excited about cooking for you tonight and didn’t think it through.”
After dinner, Jim offered to give Tina a tour of his house. They wandered through the living room, where Tina noticed Jim had quite the collection of vintage vinyl records. Jim proudly explained that he had been collecting them for years, and they spent some time picking out songs to play on the turntable.
